Advance Auto Parts is a leader in the automotive aftermarket, and they have more than 75 years of grease, grime and grit under their fingernails to prove it. Not only do they sell quality, affordable car parts, but they also sell confidence. They have over 3,400 stores and more than 49,000 of the best-equipped Team Members in the business to help customers get the right car parts and find the best answers to their repair questions.

What can I buy online here? We grade on sites offering a good choice..

We found a pretty extensive range of auto accessories in the following: brakes, fuel pumps, batteries, alternators, starters, headlights and so forth. The weird thing is that many of these car parts appear multiple times on the homepage under different category tabs.  It makes no sense to have brakes listed 4 times, in 4 different locations on the same homepage – it’s confusing.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain car accessories site?.
‘10% off brake pads and shoes when you order online’ and ‘spend X amount, save Y amount’ are some of the fantastic special deals being offered. Advance car Parts is pretty jacked in this auto accessories sector and we’re chuffed to award them mad points for their efforts at putting customers first.

How does the site look? This parameter evaluates the overall design and gives extra points for any innovative techniques..
Overall the design of this online cars site is okay. It’s not great, but it’s relatively user-friendly. There is however, room for improvement. That’s because the homepage has an inordinate amount of text and hyperlinks. It can get a little overwhelming at time.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..
There are a couple of email addresses, a toll-free telephone number and store locators. And there are several mailing addresses too. It’s rather static in that there is no interactive component from the website in real time. We’d like to see a live-support system in place too.

Why is it different to other car accessory sites? What makes this site unique? We graded on originality and innovation..
Their mouse-overs on their category sections are impressive. And they have some fancy pictures to accompany the products they are promoting. Otherwise their general approach is a neat, structured sales platform with in-depth product descriptions. It’s standard-looking site – nothing fancy about it.

At Advance Auto Parts, Inc., one of their primary – and most important – goals is to maintain and ensure the security of their customer data. They understand that customers may have concerns regarding the privacy of personal information. This is not very reassuring, in spite of their intent. The site is safe to transact on however.
