What can I buy online here? We grade on sites offering a good choice..

DOZENcars browsed through CarAccessories’ site and found a long list of available products. However these appeared to be haphazardly listed in a free-flowing drop-down menu that was relentless. It would perhaps be wiser to list their extensive cars index range in a better format, with clearer parameters and a more structured categorization.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain car accessories site?.

To be perfectly frank, there wasn’t all that much to impress us on this car parts site. We shopped around – eagerly searching for special deals – and found precious little. A simple search on carpet dash mats for example yielded a bland text description and little else. There are no comparative prices listed and certainly no sparks when it comes to encouraging customers to buy here.

How does the site look? This parameter evaluates the overall design and gives extra points for any innovative techniques..

Web page design is certainly lacking in many departments. For example Car Accessories top banner is barely broad enough to contain the name of the company. Its low-definition colors and exceptionally poor images leave little room for a lasting impression. They say that you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression - and sadly this company failed to heed that very advice.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

Customer service and support are basically a write-off. That’s because Car Accessories pays scant attention to making things easier and more user-friendly. We were baffled by the mess that is essentially their customer service section. Text is all over the place and helpful information is nowhere to be found.

Why is it different to other car accessory sites? What makes this site unique? We graded on originality and innovation..

This auto accessories site is not going to win any awards in the innovative realm either. That’s because Car Accessories fails – once again – to grasp one very important concept. That websites catering to motoring enthusiasts are duty-bound to be on the cutting edge. With the rapid advancement of technology, there is no excuse for providing a sub-standard website.

CarAccessories.com will not willfully disclose individually identifiable information about its visitors or customers to any third party without first receiving permission from that visitor or customer. That is certainly the first slice of positive information that we have had from the company. On this score, we relaxed our criticism and graded them accordingly.

What methods of payment does this site offer? Can I pay online? Will payments be secure?.

This is a nightmare section – once again. We were merely browsing the site – trying to locate car accessories for a specific truck. That in itself proved a daunting prospect. Then we tried to checkout and were essentially asked to register. So we have no clue what payment options they permit – because they don’t make use of transparency for the purposes of transactions.

How large is the range of brands on this site? Are we limited to a narrow selection of big name brands or does this site offer real consumer choice? .

They claim to scour trade shows and review thousands of products and special offers so they can ‘distill them into this very special selection of goods to protect your vehicle.’ We could not find any information on brand ranges. That is utterly bizarre.
