There are some 42 car accessories product types available on site. These range from windshield washer/wipers to accessories and gifts. The list is comprehensive. What isn’t necessarily clear is where one would search for specific items within those categories.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain car accessories site?.

The best we could find is free standard shipping on orders of $300 or more on car parts and accessory purchases. For that amount of cash we can certainly afford to pay for domestic shipping. There is scant evidence of really special deals on site.

The car parts site is best described as an eyesore. What’s worse, it’s not even a memorable eyesore – it’s forgettable. And that’s arguably the worst kind of insult. Because we found it dreary, uninspiring and altogether amateurish. So it gets a mediocre .

Customer service in this cars site is an absolute joke. It’s a largely blank white page with 12 hyperlinks. Whether or not the actual services are effective is less important than the presentation of the content. As this is a website offering car accessories for top, medium and low level vehicles, we expect a certain uniform standard to be maintained. But certainly not one on the low-end of the spectrum.

Why is it different to other car accessory sites? What makes this site unique? We graded on originality and innovation..

DOZENcars fails to see how there is even the slightest whiff of innovation that distinguishes Restore Classics from its competition – in a positive way. One would think that glossy pictures, beautiful videos of cars of yesteryear or even design-it-yourself innovative technology may be present. No such luck.

Is this site safe? Does the site protect my personal information? Is the privacy policy easy to find? Will this site bombard me with emails or share my details with other sites? Is this site recommended or verified by a regulator?.

All the personal information of customers is treated as confidential and is not sold or given to any other companies. Restore Classics uses the personal information to contact customers if they have questions about the order, and to inform customers about future specials. So they do spam you. Not nice. Plus we found out that they use cookies to track browsing habits. The site is secure though, but overall this is not positive.

Discover, Visa, MasterCard and Amex are the preferred payments methods used by Restore Classics. What about PayPal, Western Union and Bill Me Later? Half marks for a half job.

How large is the range of brands on this site? Are we limited to a narrow selection of big name brands or does this site offer real consumer choice? .

This seemed rather limited. We search for several car products and found little evidence of a wide brand range. Again another disappointment from Restore Classics.
