Quality of the information. Here we look at the quality of the car blog and posts on the blog. Is the language easy to follow? Have they been able to make content interesting?.

No future!!

The content here is what we like to call an absolute car blog joke. That’s because there is virtually no content in individual blog posts. Larry Holser – the blogger/owner of the site is more interested in brevity and linking, than he is on uploading quality content. Each and every post is way too short. So, in terms of language used, car content and overall value – we’re none too impressed.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

Navigation of this auto blog could certainly be enhanced with the addition of more categories. In 2010 only 4 articles have been written. We’re well into the year now and only 4 posts? This is shocking – to say the least. There simply is nothing worthwhile navigating to. We’re not looking back into the past – this is after all ‘Future Car Now.’ This begs the question: where is all the content?

Who writes this blog? Is it one person or a group of experts? We looked at the description or bio of the bloggers to find out who or what company is behind this blog? .

Larry Holser is the brains and brawn behind FutureCarNow. He is the sole contributor to his blog and it appears that he has given up on doing even that. He wrote on January 7^th then again on March 31^st and then April 1^st. If that’s not erratic and inconsistent, then we’re at a total loss for words. Perhaps he needs to employ or accept car enthusiast contributors in order to beef up his auto blog. It’s certainly slim pickings on this miserable blog site.

How car crazy is this site? Is this a site for people that are crazy about cars? Does it include statistics? Sneak previews of latest models or other useful car content? .

If Larry Holser and FutureCarNow were motor-crazed enthusiasts, then Larry would have made a big effort to post more frequently. At best we can say that Larry is an overworked lad whose pet blog suffered from his myopic vision of what Motor Madness is all about.

Size isn't everything.

DOZENcars doesn’t necessarily believe that size is everything, but we do believe in content and quality. Sadly, FutureCarNow lacks both. Its sole purpose appears to be an exercise in inanity. The posts are brief and none-too-informative.

but it counts right? Here we looked at the length of the posts. .

Nothing. Another big fat zero for our fallen hero Larry. This is sad. We were hoping for RSS feeds, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or even StumbleUpon. But nothing of any substance has revealed itself in FutureCarNow. We scoured the site for evidence, but found scant pickings instead.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out. .

FutureCarNow – if it lived up to its namesake – would be a fantastic blog for showcasing a plethora of Multimedia options. Sadly this is not the case. That’s because the site is lacking in quality video, audio, picture and other content. Sure Larry has linked to the Wall Street Journal from his blog, but that hardly qualifies as FutureCarNow content or multimedia.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with RSS feeds.

As mentioned previously, there are only 4 postings in the entire year (2010). A frequency of one a month is insufficient and insulting to followers of this blog. We feel neglected, aggrieved and discouraged by the infrequency and apathy that the blogsite ‘brains trust’ of FutureCarNow is providing.
