ClassicCars is a site for a niche market of collectors. Folks who love their hotrods and muscle cars will relish this used cars site. First off the prices are not cheap which puts most people out of contention for owning one of these bad boys. So we’re somewhat miffed.

How easy is it to find cars? Do you need an account to use this site or does it offer its services to everyone? Can I save my searched cars?.

We started our quest with the 1965 AC Cobra replica car in car sales. At a cool $49 large, we were somewhat disappointed that prices are so high. But ClassicCars has a solid variety of quality used cars. Customers don’t need to be registered with the site to browse it either.

This is a standard policy that reaches deep into customers’ private details.

How detailed are the car model specifications? Do you get a good feel of the vehicle.

These guys know exactly what they’re talking about and they display all the vehicle information for the public. It’s loaded with car jargon and is certainly very difficult for a layperson to understand. Car specs are generally a little too detailed, which is annoying.

We found loads of links to banks, advertised sites and the like, but nothing apparent for social options. This is certainly surprising considering all the work they go to with all the sponsorships on site. Twenty minutes later we found some odd Twitter text in their ‘About Us’ page.

This is really amateur. They have a small block of text that includes a physical address and telephone number. Information like this doesn’t inspire confidence.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out. .

As a classic car used car sales site, they are pretty well stocked up on quality vehicles. These include: AC thru Zimmer and the list is extensive and impressive. There are no half measures here.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

We scouted a 1930 Ford Coupe for $3,500 but it came with no engine. So we are content that this is not the site where cheap prices determine purchases. The customers here are collectors and fundis and they are often willing to pay top dollar for quality merchandise – which to them may well be special deals.
