A knock-out car site!
Yahoo! Autos is a knockout online cars site. DOZENcars went all-out to find the best prices on some of the road’s most wicked hotrods. We started our search for new car sales with price comparisons on BMW sports coupes and roadsters.  The search results were comprehensive and easy to compare.  We rate them with full marks – an excellent price busting resource.

How easy is it to find cars? Do you need an account to use this site or does it offer its services to everyone? Can I save my searched cars?.
Browsing for cars for sale is as easy as pie here. Yahoo! Autos is locked and loaded with a huge sampling of the meanest wheels on the road. There is a huge selection of super-quality cars to choose from. With pics to boot, all the car specs and competitive pricing, we’re licked.

Is this site safe? Does the site protect my personal information? Is the privacy policy easy to find? Will this site bombard me with emails or share my details with other sites? Is this site recommended or verified by a regulator?.
When customers register, Yahoo! Autos asks for information such as name, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests.  Sometimes they even request Social Security numbers and information on assets. After registering with Yahoo! Autos, customers are no longer anonymous. We figured as much, but don’t exactly like it.

How detailed are the car model specifications? Do you get a good feel of the vehicle.
They are totally in the loop when it comes to model specs. Things like: mileage, body style, interior/exterior colors, stock #, VIN, engine, transmission, drivetrain, doors and wheelbase are covered. It’s the crème de la crème of vehicle data.
It is Yahoo after all!

It is Yahoo! after all so we felt that they should be totally loaded on social options. Yahoo! Autos features sharing of video content with embed codes and links. There are also blogs, forums and rate it sections for customers to complete. It’s pleasing, but not entirely sufficient.

There are sections entitled: ‘Send us your feedback’ with ratings and customer postings. We would prefer greater attention-to-detail with a more structured support service. Yahoo! Autos is a little behind the 8-ball here.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out. .
When it comes to sheer volume and variety, then this site takes the cake. We found a huge volume of autos available. Everything from Acura to Volvo and around 56 makes in between. The ‘Car Makes’ section is fully comprehensive and lists many quality options.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..
There are various options available here. These include: compare programs, Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) listings, New Car Dealer Inventory, Get a Quote, used car listings provided by Cars.com and so forth. As one might expect with luxury and standard cars – prices vary, but there are always super deals to be had.
